Regrouting replaces the old grout between tiles and resealing is replacing the silicone sealant between tile junctions.
Common signs include leaking water, mould build-up, loose tiles, or a constant damp smell. If you notice any of these, it may be time to have your shower inspected and repaired.
Leaks are usually caused by failed waterproofing, cracked grout, worn silicone seals, or movement in the building. Identifying the cause early can prevent more serious damage.
We start by removing the old moldy grout from the tile joints on your floors and walls, as well as any existing silicone from tile edges and junctions. Once the old material is cleared, we thoroughly clean the area to ensure it's free of dust and debris.
Next, we apply fresh grout in either Epoxy or sand-based to the tile joints and reseal all necessary junctions with new silicone, restoring a clean, watertight finish. To protect the new grout and extend its lifespan, we apply a high-quality grout sealer, helping to prevent water penetration for years to come.
Our standard option is durable, cement-based grout. However, for enhanced strength and stain resistance, we also offer epoxy grout as an upgrade.
We offer 5-year guarantee on all shower regrouts.
To ensure the best results, we recommend that the shower be completely dry on the day we attend the site. This helps with proper adhesion of the new grout and silicone.
After our work is completed, please allow 24 hours before using the shower again. This curing period is essential to allow the grout and silicone to fully set and provide a long-lasting, watertight finish.
